Drama in Oulu
What a comeback by Oulu Kärpät! The Finish Champion beat Sparta Praha with 4:1 (winning goal at 59:11) and managed to give the right answer after a 2:4-loss in the first leg. Oulu will meet Espoo Blues that qualified with a 3:1-victory and a tied 1:1 versus HV71 from Sweden.
In the second Finish duel in CHL-quarterfinals, TPS Turku meets Lukko Rauma. Turko won over Storhamar Hamar from Norway (4:3, 2:1). Rauma eliminated Djurgården Stockholm with 2:1 in two games.
The spectators of Davos - Liberec saw 15 goals in the match-up, Davos won 4:3 and 5:3. Davos faces Skellefteå (5:2 and 2:1 versus Berlin).
Frölunda humiliated Litvínov with a 6:0-victory in leg 2 after 1:2 in first round. Luleå also took revanche for a 1:2-loss in the first leg and beat Tappara Tampere with 5:0. Therefore, there will be last year's final in quarterfinals this year.
