"The team supported me a lot"

"I was really happy knowing my debut was coming up", says Christoph Kiefersauer. The 18-year old forward has played his first DEL-game on Sunday with the Panthers winning in Iserlohn 5:1. "I heard before that the games are really hard there and crowd is really loud. So honestly, I was pretty nervous before the faceoff. But with a 3:0-lead after eight minutes, I started to calm down. The team supported me a lot."

Kiefersauer, who grow up at his home team EC Bad Tölz, fired on shot and was on the ice at the very first goal of his team.
