Köppchen joins Team Germany

German headcoach Pat Cortina has now nominated a forth player of ERC Ingolstadt: Patrick Köppchen, Captain of the Panthers, joins Team Germany for the World Championships. "I have not even dreamt of getting nominated for a second World Championship after 13 years", says the defenseman. Köppchen helped the Panthers to the German title in 2014 and the runner-up in 2015.

Köppchen heads to Prague on Thursday. Germany faces in Group A France (2nd of may), Canada (3rd of may), Switzerland (5th of May), Sweden (7th of May), Latvia (8th of May), host Czech Republic (10th of May) and Austria (11th of May).
