Panthers start vs. Braehead Clan

The schedule for the Champions Hockey League season 2015/16 has been set. ERC Ingolstadt will start at home versus Braehead Clan (August 22th, 7.30 p.m. CET). The following thursday brings an away-game at Swedish champion Växjö Lakers. The rematch will be held one week later at Saturn Arena, both games start at 7 p.m. To end the group stage, Manny Viveiros' team will play in Glasgow versus the Braehead Clan (September 5th, 8 p.m.). ERC Ingolstadt is currently in plans for a fan-trip to Glasgow.
The Champions Hockey League (CHL) consists of 48 teams from 12 countries. The German starters are ERC Ingolstadt, Adler Mannheim, EHC Red Bull Munich, Düsseldorfer EG, Eisbären Berlin and Krefeld Pinguine. Last season, all German starters were eliminated in first round. "To reach the next round is certainly our goal", says director Jiri Ehrenberger.
The best two teams each of the 16 groups take the step to the next level. Ehrenberger: "We are looking forward to the Champions League which will be a real yardstick for us. We want to prove ourselves against Europe's best hockey teams."
