Roster decisions
One week after the out in the first playoff-round, several contract decisions have been made.
Director sports released
ERC Ingolstadt has released Jiri Ehrenberger from his duties. In about three years with Ehrenberger as director sports, the Panthers reached the Championship (2014), the finals (2015), but were eliminated in the first round in 2016 and 2017. Ehrenberger brought several young players from Bavaria into the roster ("Ingolstadt Way") and installed a well-working partnership with DEL2-team ESV Kaufbeuren.
Three contract extensions
The young guns David Elsner (2019+1), Fabio Wagner (2020) and Simon Schütz (2022) have signed new contracts. The trio comes from the wider region of Ingolstadt and have developed strong.
Nine players leave
Marco Eisenhut, Marc Schmidpeter, Brian Salcido, Thomas Pielmeier, Petr Pohl, Jean-Francois Jacques, Björn Svensson, Brett Bulmer and Daniel Larsson will not play for ERCI next season.
The status of Danny Irmen, Martin Buchwieser and Darryl Boyce is open.
