"A good team win"
Five points weekend for ERC Ingolstadt: The Panthers won the top-game versus Düsseldorfer EG in overtime, coming back from a 0:2 down (ERC-goals: Vili Sopanen, Brett Olson and Mike Collins), and stole three points from runner-up-champion Eisbären Berlin (ERC-goals: David Elsner, Brett Olson, Jerry D'Amigo). After the 3:1 road-win, we spoke to captain Dustin Friesen.
"That's a good road win. Berlin is a good team, they play well at home but overall, it seems we have been pretty composed throughout the whole game and I think we really stucked to our system. Ideal, we don't wanna sit back and spend moe time, play more in their zone but we knew they are going to make a push (in the third period; the editor), good teams do that. We played well defensively and tried to keep them outsiede. We got some timely goals and Jokes (goalie Jochen Reimer; the editor) made some big saves there. At the end of the day, we got the drop done. We got the three points, that is the main thing. Good team win!"
